Where we work
GRCS has been contracted and subcontracted to undertake geophysical investigations across a wide range of physiographic and geological settings throughout Nepal. Our project experience extends from the Terai alluvial plains, through the Siwalik and Mid-Hill regions, to high-altitude Himalayan terrains.
We have conducted geophysical surveys under varying subsurface conditions, including unconsolidated alluvial deposits, weathered and fractured rock masses, faulted zones, and complex lithological boundaries. GRCS applies site-specific survey designs and data acquisition techniques tailored to local topography, access constraints, and geological complexity.
Our nationwide operational capability allows us to support engineering and infrastructure projects such as hydropower developments, transportation corridors, building foundations, dams, tunnels, and slope stability assessments. By adapting investigation methodologies to elevation, terrain, and ground conditions, GRCS delivers reliable subsurface characterization essential for geotechnical design, risk assessment, and construction planning.
